VMWare Tools on Ubuntu Desktop Instance – a script

I finally posted the script for the desktop instance today.  Get it here.

    This is great! I could setup vmt on 8.10 by following your howto.

    But I couldn’t setup vmt on 9.04 guest. Any ideas?
    (config: 9.04 host; vmware server 2.0.1; 9.04 guest)

    In general, 1) open-vm-tools require uriparser >= 1.1 (don’t no why ???)
    2) I did “./configure –disable-unity”, no errors, but vmhgfs failed to start and mouse is not released.
